Local ownership = a success!

Sylvia’s trip to Brazil was a success!  It was very exciting to see that the TAP Brazilian team and local community have really taken local ownership of the Project.  They are proposing new ideas about what they need, and we are looking forward to seeing the project grow with their ideas in the lead. 

The trip was a chance to meet with the new round scholarship applicants and there are some very strong candidates. Stay tuned as we will be announcing new recipients by the end of August.

Ingrid de Leon, Academic Advisor at LaGuardia Community College in NY, joined us in Brazil to provide some consulting for our programs and she was very inspired by what she saw!
